Engagement Photos at The NYC Public Library
Their session started at the NYC Public Library – the bride’s dream location! They requested photos on the stairs, and we delivered with so many gorgeous shots. There were countless small nooks and open spaces to explore, so we never needed any props – the scenery spoke for itself! The architecture was intricate yet simply elegant. Even though it was gloomy and rainy in the city, we made the most of the natural light from the windows and embraced the moody lighting from the fixtures.
Editorial Romance at The Frick Museum
Due to the rain, we moved locations to the beautiful Frick Museum. Ashley & David have such an easy-going relationship and are very much go-with-the-flow themselves, so switching locations was no issue. Their whole day flowed beautifully, and they were able to read each other so well and anticipate each other’s needs perfectly. Just like the library, there were so many different spaces to capture photos. We stopped in this greenhouse-like room with a glass roof, greenery, and a fountain. We of course also had to take advantage of another stunning staircase – these shots were by far my favorite. I loved the candle-lit chandelier pillars and of course the ceiling; those really added to the cinematic feel of their photos. But more so, I loved the looks on their faces while capturing their love. The way they look at each other with such adoration was so beautiful. All they did was have fun and gush about their amazing relationship and future wedding plans. I cannot wait to spend time with them again on their big day!
