Baillie & Tyler were so much fun to work with for their Belmar beach engagement session. The couple’s light-hearted nature made every moment special as they were super into our session from start to finish. Their happiness—both in being there and simply being together—was absolutely infectious! What really stood out was how they talked about their upcoming wedding with such genuine excitement and ease. Engagement Photos at The Windmill, Belmar
Baillie & Tyler love going to the Windmill, Belmar – a super cute hot dog and burger joint down the shore. For their session, they ordered fries, a hot dog, and a soda which they both shared. I absolutely loved that we captured them using 2 straws for their soda – it was such an iconic shot that we just had to get! The vibe of the Windmill was perfect – modernized but still with that vintage feel to it. We got tons of photos of them laughing together and sharing a few kisses – it was seriously so sweet! The couple was pretty much down for anything – especially Tyler, who was just happy to be there and completely open to any ideas Baillie had.
Foggy Belmar Beach Engagement Photos
After the Windmill, we made our way to the beach. It was super foggy and a little chilly, but they both completely embraced the gloomy weather! Their outfits even worked perfectly for the moody conditions. Baillie wore this stunning, fitted sage green dress, while Tyler wore a matching color button-up shirt with a white tee and jeans. The color was muted which matched the gloomy day, but was so gorgeous nonetheless!
Since they both wore non-beachy shoes, they kicked them off and ventured more towards the water. I captured a few artistic shots of her heels which I absolutely loved! The rest of their shoot was just so romantic. I got photos of her running to him, them holding each other’s hands, staring into each other’s eyes, and so many more intimate moments. I just loved how smiley they both were—they were truly having fun and I was just there to capture it all! The photo where Tyler picks her up while she’s holding her shoes is definitely my favorite from the entire session.

Having an engagement session at the Windmill and beach in Belmar turned out to be such a perfect combo for Baillie and Tyler! The foggy beach gave us this romantic, intimate vibe that was totally different than your typical sunny beach photos – and I’m obsessed with how they turned out! What I love most about beach engagement sessions is how each couple makes it their own. Some bring props (like Baillie’s cute heels!), some incorporate meaningful locations (like the Windmill that’s special to them), and some just embrace whatever weather comes their way!
