Jenna & Francesco were an absolute blast to work with for their moody engagement photos at The MET. These two were so determined to capture their vision at the museum that they were willing to do anything to make it happen—and it sure did pay off. NYC Engagement Photos at The Metropolitan Museum
If you’ve ever been to the MET, you know it is absolutely stunning. When the couple reached out to me requesting this location, I knew it was going to be nothing short of amazing. Of course, it’s a busy spot, so we expected some crowds, but they were so determined to make this work that we knew a little editing could handle the crowds! They were going for a moody and romantic feel, so we ventured around many different spots both inside and outside of the MET. They specifically requested photos on the stairs, so of course we had to capture that iconic moment.
We made our way through the different rooms, photographing them sharing intimate moments with each other while they enjoyed the gorgeous pieces of art. The bride also wanted a blurry photo of the two of them kissing, which we captured in this beautiful red room in front of a sculpture. There are so many favorite photos from their session that I can’t simply choose which ones I love the most. The moments where they’re running across the arched bridge, posing on the stairs, and standing in front of the most beautiful sculptures—their gallery is so unique and holds so much beauty.
