2 couples, 2 locations, 2 amazing sets of photos. This NYC bridal shoot concept was all about capturing editorial bridal photos in one of the most iconic cities in the world! I collaborated with my photographer friends Karen from Kineo Iris Photography and Meagan McQueen to create and style these two amazing shoots with our gorgeous couples.
Bethesda Terrace with Our Solemn Vow
We kicked off our NYC bridal shoot at the iconic Bethesda Terrace in Central Park with Aaron and Samantha from “Our Solemn Vow” – and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect starting location! We were going for this editorial, romantic aesthetic, and Bethesda Terrace was the perfect location. Samantha looked like an absolute dream in her stunning gown from @dalliancegownrentals – it was the perfect choice that tied everything together.
What made this shoot extra special was having Karen and Meagan right there with me, all of us capturing different angles and moments. There’s something so inspiring about working alongside other creatives who share your vision! The energy was incredible, and we were all feeding off each other’s creativity throughout the day.
I have to say, some of my favorite images from the entire shoot came from those beautiful stairs at Bethesda Terrace – there’s just something about that architecture paired with a couple who’s genuinely connected.
Soho with Eden and Luke
After spending time at Bethesda Terrace, we headed to SoHo for the second half of our NYC shoot with Eden and Luke – and let me tell you, the energy completely shifted! I was going for a more Parisian, upscale vibe in this location, and Eden looked absolutely stunning in her gown from @theivoryeditrentals. We styled her with this chic hat that added the perfect touch of sophistication, and her shoes were just beautiful – everything came together so perfectly for the editorial look I was envisioning.
One image that I’m still obsessed with is this black and white shot I created of Eden and Luke kissing right in the middle of the street. I made it slightly blurry with all these curious New Yorkers around them just watching – it’s moments like these that remind me why I’m absolutely obsessed with what I do!
