Now that we’ve entered mid-summer, I’m taking full advantage of the warmer weather for beach engagement sessions, like this stunning shoot I captured at Long Branch, NJ with Nicole and Nick. Keep reading to see how their evening unfolded!
Sunset Beach Engagement Photos
Nicole and Nick were a dream to work with. They were so comfortable with one another and just wanted to have fun during their shoot. They actually came to their session straight from dinner in Long Branch, so it was an extension of their date night! Even though it wasn’t technically impromptu, I loved that they just tied it into their casual, everyday activities like a regular date night.
We began at sunset and it was absolutely stunning as always. Mother nature even granted us a rainbow! They both wanted their session to feel light and beautiful, so we walked through a few different scenes and concepts. We captured sweet moments like him picking her up and spinning her around, and they brought champagne and a blanket which added such a romantic touch to their photos.
Some of my favorite shots of the night were of course with the rainbow – but also them running through the birds and Nicole having her goddess moment. At the end of their session, I had them get in the water, and those shots always come out so playful and fun!
