Allie & Anthony’s Cozy Airbnb Wedding With Family & Friends
Allie and Anthony go all the way back to high school! Allie knew she loved him, but they didn’t connect until later in life – some love stories just need a little time. They eventually found their way to each other and started their beautiful family when they had their son. When it came to planning their small wedding, they had the sweetest idea: reserving an Airbnb big enough for all their family and friends to stay together.
Getting Ready With Loved Ones
They got ready in separate areas of the Airbnb – Allie and her bridesmaids took over the bedroom suite, while Anthony and his family and groomsman got ready in the guest house. I always love capturing these moments because you get to see all of the emotions! There’s this beautiful mix of jittery excitement and peaceful calm that fills the air. Anthony started his groom moments with special moments with his parents putting the finishing touches on his attire, and him sharing drinks and laughs with everyone. For Allie, we created some absolutely stunning photos on the grand staircase. The house had these gorgeous windows that let in the most perfect sunbeams, which made for the sweetest father-daughter first look. When her dad saw her in her final look, he greeted her with the warmest smile and kissed her hand in such a tender moment – definitely one of my favorites!
A Fall Wedding Ceremony At Sunset
The fall wedding ceremony took place on a chilly yet gorgeous day at sunset. The outdoor seating faced a rustic barn on the property, decorated perfectly with white roses. There were so many personal touches to this ceremony that made it uniquely them! Instead of a first look, Allie’s dad made special doors that would open just for her grand reveal walking down the aisle. When those doors opened, Anthony started to cry as he held their son – it was so touching to witness. Even though they didn’t write their own vows, the moment was still so personal and moving! They were both so nervous and excited that Anthony even gave her the wrong hand for his ring! One of my favorite parts was their unique take on the ring bearer tradition. Since their son was too young, they hid the ring box under one of their guests’ seats and announced for everyone to look underneath to see if they had it. Whoever found it would bring it up to the altar – I really love it when couples put a fun twist on things like this!
Classy & Elegant Bride And Groom Portraits
These portraits of Allie and Anthony were absolutely amazing! They are such a beautiful couple and their love for each other just radiates in every photo. We started by capturing some moments around the ceremony space while we still had that perfect sunset light, then moved to this gorgeous balcony area in the guest house. These were honestly my favorite photos of the day! Her dress was absolutely stunning, and you could just see Anthony’s face light up as he admired his wife. The emotions were flowing and everything turned out so beautifully.
A Candlelit Reception & Intimate Family Dinner
The reception flowed perfectly between the patio area and inside the home. Their first dances with each other and their parents were so special, held under twinkling string lights on the patio. Then everyone moved inside for dinner, where they had this gorgeous family-style table set up for an intimate meal with their guests. The dinner was so classy – ambient candlelight everywhere, white rose floral arrangements, and the prettiest gold accents. The toasts were so heartfelt, there wasn’t a dry eye in the whole place!
