A Heartwarming Intimate Wedding at Old Stone House Inn in Warwick, NY

As an intimate wedding and elopement photographer, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most emotional and beautiful moments in a couple’s life. This lovely couple’s intimate wedding at the Old Stone House Inn, one of the most charming wedding venues in Warwick, NY, was no exception. Despite the challenges they faced, their love and joy shone through in every moment of their special day.

A Last-Minute Intimate Wedding Filled with Love

The bride and groom reached out to me in December for their last-minute intimate wedding, which was originally planned for January 20th. The couple was drawn to my vintage wedding photography style, particularly the filmy, moody, and black-and-white photos. As a micro wedding photographer and film wedding photographer, I was thrilled to be a part of their special day.

The lovebirds’ decision to move their wedding date up was a testament to their love and commitment to each other and their family. With the groom’s mother’s health declining, they wanted to ensure she could be present for their wedding day. Together with their closest loved ones, the soon-to-be newlyweds planned a beautiful and intimate celebration of their love.

Overcoming Challenges with the Power of Love

Mother Nature had her own plans for the couple’s wedding day, with a massive snowstorm hitting from January 6th to January 7th. As a dedicated wedding photographer, I knew I had to be there for them, no matter what. After photographing a full-day wedding in Hamilton, NJ, on January 6th, I drove up to Warwick to ensure I would be present for their special day.

The snowstorm didn’t dampen the spirits of the bride and groom, their family, or the incredible vendors who came together to make their day perfect. The Old Stone House Inn provided a stunning backdrop for their intimate ceremony and reception, with its cozy atmosphere and beautiful grounds blanketed in snow.

Capturing Emotional Moments and Joyful Memories

Throughout the day, I captured the couple’s love story through my lens. From the groom’s emotional first look with his mother to the bride’s joyful getting-ready moments with her mom and aunt, every moment was filled with love and laughter. The soulmates’ handwritten vows on quirky greeting cards added a touch of personality and humor to their already emotional ceremony.

After the ceremony, we ventured out into the snowy landscape for some truly magical elopement photos. The happy couple’s joy and excitement were palpable as they embraced in the falling snow, still in their wedding attire. These moments of genuine love and happiness are what make intimate weddings so special.

A Wedding Photographer’s Dream Come True

As an intimate wedding and elopement photographer, this heartwarming wedding was a dream come true. The couple’s love, the supportive family and friends, and the incredible vendors who made it all possible created an unforgettable experience. To top it off, I gifted the newlyweds a bridal session in May at the location where they first met – the Stone Pony in Asbury. I believe every couple deserves a celebration that is uniquely theirs, and I can’t wait to capture more of their love story.
