Jordan and Jesse’s Arizona engagement photos were captured during a breathtaking journey through some of the Southwest’s most stunning landscapes. This high school sweetheart couple chose to celebrate their upcoming wedding with an adventurous bridal/engagement session that spanned three iconic locations across Arizona and Utah. By dedicating an entire day to the shoot, we were able to create a varied and stunning gallery that tells their complete story.
Sunrise Engagement Photos at Horseshoe Bend, Arizona
Our day began at Horseshoe Bend, where we captured the most stunning sunrise photos. This location resulted in some of the most beautiful (and risky) photos I’ve ever taken. The couple posed on the canyon’s edge, with Jordan’s dress cascading beneath her. This courageous moment encapsulated what I admire most about their relationship: their adventurous spirits and romantic bond.
Engagement and Bridal Photos The New Wave in Arizona
Next, we made our way to The New Wave, where the couple’s spontaneity truly shone. This lesser-known gem offered a playground of smooth, wave-like rock formations that the couple fearlessly explored. Jordan’s dress blew in the wind as they scaled the rocks, resulting in some of the most dynamic and Pinterest-worthy shots of the day.
Documentary-Style Engagement Photos at Lone Rock Beach, Utah
Our final destination took us across state lines to Lone Rock Beach in Utah. This serene spot along Lake Powell provided the perfect setting for a more intimate and relaxed portion of their session. Jordan and Jesse had a quick wardrobe change, followed by a shared picnic on the shore, popping champagne as the sun began to set. As blue hour approached, they waded into the calm waters, their laughter echoing across the beach. The day ended in an intimate slow dance, with the couple surrounded by the vast canyon and the circling seagulls.
