When it comes to celebrating love, there’s nothing quite like reliving your wedding day on your anniversary. This sweet couple wanted to do just that for their first anniversary, and I was thrilled to be a part of their special day as their photographer. As an intimate wedding and micro wedding photographer, I love capturing the essence of a couple’s love story, and their session at Princeton University was a perfect example of that. Using a mix of digital and film photography, I was able to create a timeless and romantic look that perfectly suited the couple’s style.
Improvising For A Romantic Anniversary Session
The day of the photoshoot was met with pouring rain, but that didn’t stop us from creating magic. We improvised and used the campus as our backdrop, taking advantage of the beautiful archways and architecture. The lovebirds brought along some special items to help recreate their wedding day, including a cake and champagne with glasses for a mini champagne tower. I surprised them with flowers and candles to add to the romantic atmosphere.

Throughout the anniversary session, I focused on capturing the intimate moments and the love that the happy couple shares. One of my favorite parts of the day was capturing the details of her stunning white dress, particularly the gorgeous bow on the back. These little elements help to create a full picture of the couple’s love story and make for timeless, intimate photos.
